As part of my resolution this year to make each day count, I'v decided to take on this year's Trailblaze Challenge. This 26.3 mile, one day hike is a fund raising event for Make-A-Wish. In addition to the physical challenge, I have committed myself to raising money for Make-A-Wish to help grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. My minimal fund raising goal is $2500, and the deadline to reach this goal is June 16, 2021. With your help, this can be possible. Together, we can create life-changing wishes for so many deserving children. This is my first time attempting any type of fundraising, so all this is new to me. I'm asking, if you will, to make each day this year count by helping grant wishes of children with critical illness who are making each hour of their lives count.
Did you know that Make-A-Wish grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year? That's a lot, yes. But that's only 50% of the eligible kids. Every hour of every day, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. I'm fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
These life-changing wishes are only possible because of supporters like us. A wish experience can truly change a child's life, and so can we.
Will you help me support Make-A-Wish by donating today?
